The Animex International Festival of Animation and Computer Games

10th - 14th February 2014

Animex 2014 is the largest festival dedicated to animation and computer games in the UK and is open to all, whether student, professional or enthusiast.

Founded in 2000 the festival takes place annually over a week in February and attracts some of the biggest names in games, animation and VFX to deliver talks, workshops and demos as well as providing opportunities for audience and speakers to network in a social setting.

Unanimous praise for Animex Screenings, an expo, exhibitions and community events run throughout a week already packed with talks by some of the best in the business. Studios that visit regularly include Valve, Naughty Dog, Epic, FreeStyleGames, Pixar, Dreamworks and Double Negative, to name but a few.

Students on these programmes have a range of valuable technical and design skills, including:
